The desk can be moved between the two units on wheels. There are four drawers for storage and two cabinets with doors. Some Midi loft bunk beds with storage come with a desk built in (as illustrated above) however, other models, such as our Luna Midi-Bunk, feature a ladder on the right side so that the table can be placed on the left. It's important to note that many midi loft beds with desk require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden slatted base. The price of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest looking through our mattress deals to find one that is within your budget.

Mattress

Most midi beds use standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk is equipped with a safety rail for added peace of mind. Some models come with a fabulous pull out drawer that can be used for sleepovers or more storage space below the bed. These can be either open or fitted with a door (please check the product's details for more information).

Many midi cabins come with a desk that can be moved from one level to the other or chests. This provides children with a unique space to store all their belongings, and there's no need to use precious floor space with heavy shelving units or wardrobes.

Some models have gone a step further with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or a part of the headboard or footboard. This is perfect for storing toys and books.
