Anna discovered the CoZee to be a safe, comfortable place to sleep for her baby. She loved that it didn't rock like some other models, so it didn't wake her up in the night when she was trying to soothe her baby during feeds. She also loved that the side was lowered so she didn't need to reach out over her partner to lift the baby out to feed her at night.

The CoZee is available in charcoal and oak and is a beautiful addition to the bedroom. It's more of an expensive piece of furniture than many of the other cribs that we've tried, which appear quite utilitarian. It's also fairly light at 11kg and comes with a carry case so you can take it on vacation or if moving home. You'll need a waterproof sheet and a safety strap for sleeping together. The Iora is a bassinet for infants designed to help parents feel connected with their infant while they sleep. It adjusts upwards and downwards and slides through three positions to fit beside the bed of the parent or in the corner of the room so that the baby is always close to the parent's side. The mesh siding is breathable, allowing air to circulate through and lets you glance at your baby. You can also store extra pajamas or supplies in the large basket underneath.

Unlike some other smaller bedside crib options Iora is a standout among other bedside crib with wheels cribs. Iora folds flat and comes with a bag for travel which allows it to be taken wherever. Our mom testers were able to move it from room to room and believed that it was a suitable size for a small bedside crib with wheels cot, and not too big or too small. The large storage basket is ideal for storing extra bedding or nappies.

This is a great option for parents who want to co-sleep but don't wish to share their beds or whose partners may be suffering from mobility issues, such as arthritis or back issues. Our mom testers are thrilled with the ease with which they can access their baby in the Iora and that it comes with an option to tilt the bed upwards to help alleviate gas.

Our mums are thrilled that the mattress adheres to NICE guidelines. These are to place the infant in a Moses basket or crib on its own without blankets, toys, pillows etc. They also say that the mattress is comfortable and firm for baby and is easy to find sheets for. It's not as light as the other cribs for bedside use however, so if you want something lighter and easier to move around, consider one of the other options in our list.
