The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

They have impressive mapping and obstacle avoidance, and they can even wash and refill their own mopping pads for a hands-off clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to select if you're looking for a robot vacuums with mop vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than other models on this list which makes it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It can even return to the dock to top up its battery part way through an efficient.

It's quick and does a great job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It can autonomous vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one sweep. The suction motor's 8,000pa will quickly pick up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects carpets, and the dual side brush helps to remove debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, is not as impressive. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a bit more than other robots. This is helpful when you're trying to get into narrow corners or on baseboards. Those same front arms can be used to clean larger objects, such as broken toys or books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't create as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It's easy to install and performs well however it's something you'll have to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum for the sole reason of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful machine for cleaning with a variety of features.

The device comes with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map your home and detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and efficiently. This leads to an efficient, consistent clean which is also relatively quick.

In terms of mopping, Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads are capable of reaching many different surface areas. This includes corners, baseboards and other hard to reach places. The side brush can be stretched to reach the floor near to the walls and other fixtures. In addition, the mop pads can be cleaned and dried to avoid build-up and lessen the smell.

Another noteworthy feature is the app-based customization options. The Q Revo allows you to alter the intensity of its suction and select between a back-andforth or more randomized pattern. You can also choose the number of passes, which will determine how quickly it can move around your home. You can also deactivate the side brush in order to prevent damage to carpets and rugs.

It's expensive, however it has many useful features. However, it's important to keep in mind that it has recurring costs, such as mopping equipment and maintenance. For example the brushroll should be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad should be replaced every three to six months.

Its incredibly fast performance, sophisticated navigation, and long battery life make it easy to maintain a clean house with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is an all-in-one mop and vacuum. It can do both vacuuming as well as mopping. The robot comes with two modules: a dry bin and water reservoir, and a separate mopping module with a microfiber pad that snaps into and out of the way. Separate modules for mopping and vacuuming may appear a bit dated but they're a good thing because that you don't need to worry about changing disposable bags or refueling the tank with water.

The Matrix Plus performed well at vacuuming and mopping. Its most impressive feature is its precise floorplan map, which it employs when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate between rugs, furniture, and other obstacles. The app allows you to create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to stop certain areas from being cleaned by mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of collecting pet hair. It was able to capture many of the hair our cats shed, and even got into the nooks and crannies of our stairs where other robots struggled. It was quiet and even had some nice jingles that let you know when it was beginning or completing its task.

The biggest flaws were its simplistic app and the requirement to change between the modules to switch between vacuuming and mopping. The app is not able to save multiple maps. This can be an issue if your house has several floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want an intelligent robot that can do both mopping and vacuuming.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, but it has some distinctive features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its huge dock that serves as a charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as a 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base also has a variety of control buttons that allow you to start a cleaning task or recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents who are worried about their children playing with the vacuum.

Like other best robotic mop and vacuum vacuums, the X1 Omni uses its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise at recognizing objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni could sometimes get so entangled with an obstruction, such as the power cord that is draped across a rug, that it gets stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. While it was not common however, it was a gruelling experience when it happened particularly since the X1 Omni doesn't come with an "stuck" status alert on its app.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during cleaning. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, mopping pads don't get washed or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the bright side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a major departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases used by competitors like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing view in a market that is dominated by bulky boxes and clunky models.
