The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a budget and don't need an extra stroller that can be used as car seat carriers. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop user-friendly.

It's easy to push and it is solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. Additionally, it's easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the ultimate light-weight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, due to its extremely nimble handling and foldable design that can be tucked away in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels made from Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

The YOYO2 frame base, curved fabric bassinet and 6+ month colour pack come together to form a stylish pushchair that's easy on the eye with a subtle yet elegant design and a tasteful branding. The base frame alone weighs just over a kilogram and is so light that you can easily lift it out of the box (and do it with one hand).

It's also easy to add or remove adaptors or attachments such as the hood, for example, snaps onto the YOYO2 by clicking - as well as being machine washable to remove stains from smushed rice cakes and half-dissolved carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram starting from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted into stroller at 6 months old by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great choice for parents seeking a stroller that is versatile. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be converted from a stroller into a wagon by simply flipping the handle. Parents can then select which mode is best for their adventure. The wagon can accommodate two or more children from 6 months up to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket to accommodate all of your on-the-go needs.

The Xplore comes with two canopy options that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than some wagons. This might not be ideal for long drives or napping.

The frame on the Xplore is solid and sturdy but it doesn't have the same flex as some of the other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely after folding. It is easy to move, though, and it can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are seeking a second stroller that is affordable. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to put into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as an adult cup holder. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our push and turn test it performed better than most of the other strollers of a similar price we test, but it's not the easiest to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doorways. The sunshades on it were among the tiniest of strollers we test. They only cover the top of the stroller and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

It took us just under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta with a standard manual. All of the components required tools. However, it is missing certain essential features we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller for example, a larger basket and reclining seats that have adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair and is marketed as an urban travel system. It is designed to accommodate infants from birth until around 3.5 years old, easily changing between a seat and a carrycot by just only a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in-car-base and a reversible baby carriage.

It is really easy to maneuver and the one-hand recline of the seat and the massive shopping basket make it simple for parents to get their child in and out quickly. Despite this being quite a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps with ease and slid through doors without a hitch.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward direction, or they can rotate. This is helpful for navigating through rough terrain. When we walked along the stony path we let them swivel and it handled this fairly well although it did seem more bumpy than the other models that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best single stroller known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain jogging strollers. But they also produce a wide range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is easy to use and folds up small single stroller enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we test, but since it has composite wheels made of rubber it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two children with shopping bags and other items.

Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extension. They are sturdy and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it comes with a large, deep basket to hold a changing bag or a large amount of groceries. It can also be used with the Baby Jogger car seat for babies up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to take a stroller on the move.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of a large number of parents when it first appeared. It's a frame made of aluminum that will be with you throughout your baby's initial days and beyond. It comes with a variety of stand-out features including the ability to flip the seat to be parent-facing and world-facing, a huge UPF 50+ canopy with a flip out eyeshade as well as a large basket and adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are durable and filled with foam, which reduces the risk of punctures. The chassis is equipped with built-in suspension that eases the pain of bumpy terrain. It was easy to push and our test driver was able to maneuver the car through narrow streets.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It also stands and can be trolleyed for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system comes included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors included. The brakes are easy to use, using a single stroller, colour coded and flip-flop-friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget pushchair is simple to use and has a fantastic dual suspension. It folds using just one hand, and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also very light and sturdy. The seat can be reclined in several positions. It has a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used from birth.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be configured to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even works with some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be facing each other or rotate around to face their parents, potentially decreasing sibling fights over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a large bottle holder, gear tray, snack trays and an adjustable mat. It also comes with an automatic frame lock and a superior compact single fold pushchair.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger that's ideal for parents who love to be active. It's among the lightest strollers that you can buy for your child. It also comes with great safety features, including the 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It has a different type of hand brake unlike other models that are an interesting twist.

The seat is well-padded and has a wide area to sit in, however the depth of the seat is not as deep as other joggers we've tested (it's about 10"). The storage bin has an enclosed zipper to help keep things secure. It can hold up to 10lbs that is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most bassinets and infant car seats however, you can use them from the very first day with adapters that fit brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to assemble without tools. The instruction manual is easy to understand and includes multiple languages.
