Toto is the company that makes fancy Japanese toilets known as Washlets. They come with a heated seat, deodorizer and bidet as well as other features.

Before the formation of Toto its members, they worked as session musicians for Steely Dan[3] Seals, Crofts[4and Crofts[4] Boz Skaggs, Sonny and Cher. Five guitarist Steve Lukather is the band's singer.

About Toto

Toto was formed in 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro, David Paich (who at the time were also well-known studio musicians working with Boz Scaggs) and bassist/singer Bobby Kimball. The name of the group came from the Latin word that means "all-encompassing" and was determined to explore every style of music.

Toto's third release, Turn Back, was not a success in 1981. However they made amends with their fourth album, Isolation, which contained two hits including the title track and Roseanna. The album and tour made them a household brand around the world.

After a gap of couple of years, Toto return with the album Fahrenheit in 1986. It's a change from the ballads of previous albums and features some heavy rock. This was their first platinum album in North America.

During the recording process for the fifth album The group loses its manager and faces financial challenges. They decide to record a new album and change their name with an alternative producer. Joseph Williams, the son of John Williams, the legendary film composer and actress Barbara Ruick from 1950s, is now replacing Fergie Frederiksen as lead singer. Joseph is an easier frontman than Frederiksen and gives the band a much needed boost.

The band releases Mindfields in 1999 and goes on a huge tour around the world. After several weeks in Europe The band 안전놀이터 then travels to Japan for sold-out shows. After a brief hiatus, Toto resumes their recording and release their first live album entitled Absolutely Live in 1993. It also features a cover of Weezer's hit song Hash Pipe as a response to the band covering Africa on their recent tour. The following year, Toto toured together with Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band. This was the last time that all of Toto's original members appeared together on stage at the same time. Following this, the group disbanded once again. However, Toto reunited in 2010 to benefit the ALS Foundation. It was the first time all original Toto members had been on stage together in over 31 years. In addition to the original members, keyboardist Greg Tambu filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate filled in for Shem Von Schroeck.

Toto is one of the most well-known rock bands. They have had hits like "Rosanna," Hold The Line," and "Africa," which has been certified 8X platinum. With a range of influences, ranging from progressive rock to world beats to soul and jazz, the group continues to please fans with their acoustic arena rock.

The band was hit with several setbacks during their later times, despite their fame. In 2002 the drummer Greg Phillinganes left the group, and keyboardist David Paich took a leave of absence due to health reasons. Shem von Schröeck took over however the band was not the same without Paich or Phillinganes. In 2008, Toto decided to take the time off from touring due to a string lineup changes and a disappointing series of releases. However, the group resumed touring in 2012 following the release of their album, 40 Trips Around the Sun.

The album marked a return to the band's top form and the tour that came with it featured sold-out concerts in North America and Europe. The reunion of Toto gathered momentum after the return of bassist Shem Von Schroeck and guitarist Steve Lukather.
