The Importance of Upgrades in World of Warcraft

Upgrades are new items that increase your stats. You can upgrade your armor weapons, trinkets and weapons with these.

To calculate probabilities, item upgrades use a "upgrade pity". This system is meant to reduce extremes of luck and provide a solid safety net when upgrading.

Armor

The item upgrader allows players with the possibility to upgrade the level of equipment of their armor, weapons and trinkets. The upgrade item is applied to the equipment when you visit an item upgrader NPC with the appropriate currency. The attributes of an item level upgrade are also upgraded when it is upgraded.

This NPC is located in every major city, and is located in the corner of the square, near a teleport. The NPC is able to upgrade any weapon, armor, or trinket except for those that require a quest or crafting.

Note: The item you use to apply an upgrade is consumed for life. It is not possible to apply multiple upgrades to one piece. If you attempt to do this the previous upgrade will be overwritten.

Upgrade your equipment to increase the damage, your survival and overall power. For example, if you have new Benthic gear that you purchased from the War Within Mythic Dungeon, it will be ilvl 385 by default, and can be upgraded to a higher level with [Prismatic Manapearls[Prismatic Manapearls]. Upgrades for PvE gear are available across all accounts, while upgrades for PvP gear requires a specific currency, such as [Valorstones or [Harbinger Crests]. The amount of Valorstones required to upgrade additional items of gear in the same armor slot is reduced after the first upgrade of the gear.

Weapons

Weapons are an essential element of any successful character. They can be used to deter an evil monster, kill an intruder, or win a shooting competition. They can also be hung on the wall. Whatever way you decide to use a specific weapon, you must be aware that it is able to be upgraded and evolve according to your style of play.

The process of upgrading weapons is done by visiting a Blacksmith that has a Weapon Workbench available. Blacksmith Hewg, located in the right part of the Roundtable Hold hub, is a great choice to upgrade your primary weapon. There is also a Smithing Master called Iji located in the "Road to the Manor" Site of Grace in the northwestern region of Liurna of the Lakes. Smithing Master Iji upgrades both armor and weapons.

In general upgrading a weapon can increase the level of its weapon by 5. However in the case of Azerite weaponry (see below) and other weaponry that is special the item's ilvl will increase by 15. The player can only have one upgrade in play at any one time. If you attempt to apply an upgrade to a weapon that has another upgrade in place, it will fail and the weapon will be reverted to its original ilvl.

Upgrades don't just boost the value of an item, but also give it additional stats which can be used to boost its power. Some of these upgrades are passive, while others may provide greater damage, faster attacks, greater range or critical strike chance.

Ashes of War weapons are awarded when certain bosses of raid are defeated. Other upgrades can be added to weapons with Whetblades, which are rare items that unlock new Affinities that you can infuse your weapon with.

Once a weapon is fully upgraded, a player can continue to upgrade it as long as he/she has the appropriate upgrade materials and currency. You should be aware that weapons can only be upgraded to 25 ilvl, and not higher. This means that players should only upgrade item their weapons after they've accumulated the maximum number of upgrades through regular and Whetblade items.

Trinkets

Trinkets are unique items that provide a wide variety of Boosts. They can be upgraded like other equipment, by interacting directly with the Item Upgrader.

You can find an item upgrader in the town of Stardew Valley. To use it, you must first take off any armor or weapons that are equipped. Once you do then, the NPC will appear with the red "Equipped" banner on his head.
