Category A1 Rules For Motorcyclists

Category a1 rules are for those who wish to drive small motorcycles. They have capacity of cylinders up to 35 kW. They cannot be built from vehicles with more than twice their power.

Open category drone operations are divided into three subcategories, namely A1 to A3. You can fly drones that have the class label C0 or the wymagania na kategorię a1 in the subcategory A1 (flying over people) up to January 2024.

A1

Category A1 is one of the three EASA drone categories. It is applicable to aircrafts with a maximum take-off weight (MTOM) of up to 25 kilograms. It requires a log of flight and a flight plan as well as a remote identification system, and a geoawareness. The drone must remain in the sight of the pilot. It is not allowed to fly over people or areas that are used for commercial, recreational or industrial purposes. The drone must remain at a minimum of 120 meters above ground level.

A1 applicants must have at least 16 years of experience in two-wheeled vehicles. They must also have completed the compulsory basic training and pass both a theory as well as a practical test. In addition, they must possess an official medical certificate.

A1 license holders are allowed to use two-wheeled mopeds as the capacity of cylinder is not more than 125cc and prawo jazdy motocykl a1 their power-to-weight ratio is not more than 0.1 kg/kW. They can also ride motorcycles that have the maximum capacity of 125cc as well as trikes or quad bikes, as well as quad-bikes.

A2

You could be eligible to apply for an A1 motorcycle license after you have completed your CBT and are interested in obtaining an A1 motorcycle licence. This permits you to ride a small bike without the need for a sidecar. The vehicle must have a maximum capacity of 125cc, as well as a maximum power output of 11 kW. You can also fly drones that have an maximum weight of 4kg in the A2 category, but they must be kept at a safe distance away from people when taking off and landing. The drones must be at least 30m in horizontal distance from people in low-speed mode, or 5m when they are not involved. If you wish to fly larger drones you will need to apply for a specific category operator's permit and this requires completion of the General VLOS Certificate (GVC) training and flight assessment, as well as the preparation of an Operations Manual. A2 allows you to fly drones with transitional capabilities that aren't CE-marked but have been modified to decrease collision risks with people. You will only be able to fly these drones in A2 until the end of 2022, following which they'll be required to comply with A3 regulations.

A3

This type of flight is for drones that have the maximum mass for take-off of up to 25kg. This is a safer operation, however strict precautions must be taken to mitigate potential incidents. This is also a requirement that drones be equipped with an identification system for remotes and a Geoawareness System.

The tier is also split into sub-categories, A1, A2 or even A3. The A1 subcategory allows flights that involve uninvolved persons and is reserved for drones with a Class identification label C0 or C1. It imposes a minimum distance of 30 meters from other drones when flying at a high altitude, or 5 meters in slow flight mode.

Drones bearing the Class Identification Label C2 may be operated under subcategory A2 provided they meet the size requirements, and the remote pilot has passed a theory test. This test is designed to assess the remote pilot's understanding of the technical and operational mitigations to reduce the dangers of flying larger drones (class C2, less than 4kg mass) close to people. The certificate of ability to fly Category A2 is given upon successful completion of this test.

There are transitional arrangements that allow legacy drones, which are not certified, to operate in the categories A1 and/or A2 for two years following the implementation of the new EU regulations. The drones of the past cannot be deliberately flown overhead of people and must be operated using an A2 CofC.

To operate a drone under this category, you need to first pass the online flyer identification test and then complete a theory exam. You must also prove that you have some actual knowledge about your drone, and pass a written statement of competency. These requirements are similar in nature to the driving license model which means that drivers who first get their licence for a vehicle of a lower category is then able to move on to an upper category.

A4

The DOH is currently working on detailed guidelines to be used in category A4. These guidelines will be consistent with other operations, and will include information such as the number of dressings changed every day. These guidelines will be presented to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infections, (IATF-EID) and the DOH National Immunization Technical Advisory Group. When they are approved the guidelines will be reviewed and ratified by both the DOH National Immunization Technical Advisory Group and the IATF EID.

Drones with the C0 or C1 are able to be flying within 50 metres of people who are not involved in the incident. This is a very low-risk subcategory, however, strict precautions must be taken to mitigate incidents. Drones classified as A1 or A2 must be able to pass an additional theoretical test in order to operate in this subcategory.

This test is designed to assess your knowledge of the additional risks associated with flying drones near people. The successful completion of the test will result in the issuance of a certificate of competency for this subcategory. The operator must also keep at least 30 meters from any person who is not involved, or 5 meters when flying in a slow-flying mode.

You must take some time to pass the theory test and then you have to pass the practical test. It's based on your age, capabilities and the level of learning. But, at least 12 lessons lasting 90 minutes must be completed.

During these lessons you will become familiar with your machine and traffic regulations. Additionally, you will get valuable tips to drive in difficult terrain. In addition to the required classes, you are required to attend certain number of special rides.

The new category E effectively brings together the classes A1 (retail) and A2 (financial services and professional services), B1 (offices) and A4 (restaurants/cafes) and B5 for hot food takeaway. It also includes health/medical uses, creches and nurseries and indoor sports/recreation facilities. The new regulations are expected to simplify the licensing process and reduce costs. It will also permit landlords to use their properties in ways that are not currently permitted.
