Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

The statistics of an item are enhanced by upgrading it, also known as "upping". Each upgrade increment gives an increase in linearity of any stat.

Players can recycle up to six items at a time to gain an indicator of the level of the upgraded components. The cost of recycling a piece of equipment increases with their rarity and item level.

Upgrade components

In Guild Wars 2, an item upgrade is a way to increase the stats on your weapons and armor. This can be done through many different methods such as using upgrade components as well as upgrading an item's mark level or rarity. Many items can also be reforged in order to increase their value.

You can purchase upgradeable items throughout the game. They are available in all over the world, as well as rewards for missions. They can also be made by players. Upgrade components are the primary way to upgrade equipment. These are items that can be inserted into equipment. The upper-right side of the screen shows the amount of upgrade components required to create the specific item. The cost of an upgrade increases with the level and rarity of the item. However you can cut down on this cost by purchasing upgrades from a merchant, or trading them with other players.

Many weapons can be improved by a prefix such as a rune or an insignia. Other weapons can be upgraded by adding an suffix. These upgrades alter the name of the item upgrader kit and add an adjective, such as "Radiant" or "Minor vigor.' The exceptions are the non-inscribable weapons, such as shields and foci from Prophecies and Factions campaigns, which cannot be upgraded with any kinds of mods.

Glyphs

Glyphs are an effective instrument for communicating visual information. They move to catch the attention of the viewer and stimulate interest in the brain. The animation of glyphs resembles the body language, making them more effective in transmitting an inter-linguistic message. Glyphs also evoke a sense of familiarity in the brain, thereby increasing retention of the message.

The actual value of the glyph is determined by the quality and tier of the product you are in awe of it.

The majority of upgrade components that are slotted into items can't be replaced or salvaged without dismantling the gear in question, except for legendary equipment and upgrades. If you have a rune or glyph you don't want to use but it hasn't been applied to the gear yet, you can move the item to another piece by selecting the Upgrade Glyphs menu in the Glyphs Panel. This will create a Glyph Set that includes the chosen glyph.

You can remove any glyph with the help of the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or an Ascended Salvage tool. The item will be destroyed within which it is placed but you will be able to salvage the upgraded item using the glyph and its fragments, therefore it should not be considered a loss.

Adding a glyph to an item could cause it to become unstable, and the shards that are left of that glyph will disappear from your inventory when you remove the item upgrader mod. Reroll tokens

Each reroll gives the player an affix randomly chosen and generally better than the one they had prior to. Reroll tokens can also be used to improve weapon stats for more damage or bonuses.

Rerolled items are not listed on the menu for item upgrades, but they can still be upgraded. By pressing the "upgrade button", you can recycle the rerolled items. This will alter the design of the item's window, and allow up to six items be chosen to recycle. Recycling an item can add a small amount of points to its level gauge. The amount is determined by the item's rarity as well as its level, therefore higher-level items are more useful to recycle than lower-level ones.

Leveling

There are a variety of ways to level up an item upgrade. The first is to increase the amount of upgrade that increases the upgrade value of the stat.
