World of Warcraft - item upgrader Upgrading

Item upgrading allows players to boost an item's gear score up to 700 and also add a final perk. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory and heading to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading because of their unique stats. (For instance the perfect rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items like weapons aren't changed much after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth it.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can boost their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. They also have a flat bonus which increases their damage per second. A lot of weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a group. This bonus may be greater than the damage a weapon upgrade can do on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while a +3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the weapon will continue to rise until it requires a higher tier of Smithing Stones, at which the number will be reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons can also change the stats of the base. While this is generally an excellent thing however, it could have negative effects as well. For items that are only used in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs, for instance) upgrading them can make them unusable unless you get a lucky roll.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to improve their effectiveness. This can boost the defense base of a chest or helm, while belts and gloves can boost their strength and agility. Armor also has the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it can sometimes change its roll to a lower value.

The upgrade items template for a weapon displays the new stats that it will gain when upgraded, along with their respective values. This means that a weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will be hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button that has circling arrows in the item upgrades menu. This will roll the item and alter its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's levels or connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few armor upgrades can make all the difference to your survivability. Certain sets can offer MASSIVE boosts to poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, making it easier to navigate through tough terrain. Generally speaking, the more defense your character is, the more value you will get from every point of health and it's crucial to improve your armor as often as you can.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains in the game, and to unlock them all, Item upgrading you have to complete an additional quest that involves the Stable Trotters. Once you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor is different. You'll require anything from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade your first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade the next one. For instance the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep up with a large group of enemies in the majority of cold climates, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, providing you enough protection to withstand the full-on assault with a handful of friends.

You can't upgrade your armor the same as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior, you should focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or the power of spells. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, like the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town, you can gain some benefits to your armor. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to win the game. For example, the Longsword or Battleaxe. But it's useful to have a few upgrades to the armor on your chest and helmets to allow you to escape some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by a participant, produce an immediate effect. There are five types of potions that have different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their level of effectiveness. Alternatively, the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust the potions.

Potion upgrades cost a certain amount of XP, which can be earned by making them using a craft table or the Alchemist's chest. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion used and the Best item upgrader's rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, right-click it in your inventory. Then select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open an GUI which allows you to select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they will provide when upgraded. Upgrading potions can be done in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP total.

Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not degrade until you re-use it, or break the bottle it is stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to change its name.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few changes to the mechanism of potions. Splash potions, for example have now a duration of that is 0:08 instead of 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the item hover display. The table of potion can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can now be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons, armor, and potions. They can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. Trinkets, unlike other items that can be upgraded, can be exchanged at any time without losing stats.

The upgrade vendors are located in major cities and in the capital of each zone, as well as in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of a rare trinket.

The upgrade of a trinket can be an economical alternative to buying a new one. One can upgrade a trinket with just 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl of the previous one, and will include an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

When the old Trinkets are no longer useful they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase both their power and value over time. They can be traded among players which makes them a good alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This usually means the Best item upgrader-in-slot items for their class, followed by their secondaries, and finally other items of gear they will not be replacing in the near future (for example rings or cloaks). When choosing the items to upgrade, players should be aware of the class's preferred stats. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for tank players then they should consider upgrading their helm, chest and shoulders.

Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher ilvl once they're no longer needed, and the new trinket can be upgraded to have an additional 1% upgrade bonus. A re-upgrade, however, can cause damage to the trinket unless it is salvaged using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than purchasing new ones.
