Path of Exile item upgrader Upgrades

Item upgrades are a common and essential way to boost the performance of numerous items in Path of Exile. They can also provide additional damage, AD or even affixes.

Rare-grade equipment is often superior to the more modernized Common or Magic gear due to their higher requirements.

Armor

Armor upgrades can be applied to both armor and weapon items. They boost the performance of the item that they are connected to. Armor upgrades can be found in the world of the game and can be purchased from Blacksmiths at any bonfire. Alternately, they can be salvaged from items that have upgrade components inside them, using an expert or greater salvage kit.

The level of an armor's or item upgrades weapon's upgrade determines the amount of damage it is able to take on. Upgrading a piece of armor to maximum upgrade level will increase its ability to absorb damage. It's important to remember that this will increase the weight of the armor, so it should be heavier.

There are several kinds of armor upgrades available in the game and they all have different effects. For instance, certain upgrades will grant the armor a certain number of additional health points, while others will make it stronger and lighter. The type of armor upgrade that an item will receive will be indicated by the name of the upgrade as illustrated in the table below.

Some of the upgrades also require magic or a hybrid technology and magic, as identified by the "Magic" and "Hybrids" entries in the table below. Furthermore, some upgrades require a charge to use, which is identified by a "Charges" entry in the table below. The charges associated with these upgrades refresh every day or never expire, depending on the upgrade.

Iron Ore is the cheapest method to improve your armor. You can locate it by exploring and looting small chests. Titanium is more expensive but is readily available in the smelters of Orgrimmar and Stormwind City. Weapons

In Chapter 2: Season 5, the ways to upgrade your equipment and weapon sets has changed a bit. In the past, you could seek out an Upgrade Bench and pay a set amount of Bars to upgrade your equipment or weapon to a higher quality. You could continue doing this until you reached a maximum upgrade level for the equipment or weapon, after which upgrades would reset.

This is still possible, but it relies heavily on RNG. You're better off buying gear with low upgrade levels but with high base scores and stat distributions. These will then have a better chance of bringing you the best tier of bonuses and blessings.

The majority of players will make the most of upgrades to weapons they most often use to help them level up quicker. Players should also upgrade the weapons that their squadmates use to make them stronger. Shepard, for example should upgrade his M92F in order to unlock the Beretta M93R. This will make the weapon more effective when accompanied by biotic specialists like Grunt and Tali.

Jewels

Jewels can be used to increase a stat or provide secondary effects in armor and weapons. These reagents can be obtained from Treasure Goblins and World Bosses in the world, or by finding Legendary Gear. You can also purchase them from The Jeweler for gold and a Scattered Prism.

The quality of a diamond can be improved at the Jeweler, in stages that range from Crude to Royal. The stat boosts will vary depending on the level the jewel is in when it's slotted into jewelry, weapons, or gear.

All kinds of jewels can be made at the Jeweler however, there are some exceptions to this, such as the rare and legendary jewels that require you to be at a high enough level to qualify for the privilege of having them. Jewels can be replaced with another one without damaging the original. You can only replace the gem only once in a piece of equipment.

Using more jewels in the movement can make it feel more comfortable and is typically done to enhance the aesthetics of the movement. In addition to improving performance, the jewels create a surface that is harder than steel, so the repeated friction from pivots doesn't cause damage as easily.

In addition to the above upgrades, the player can also get glyphs for their shields and weapons from a Glyphmaster. They offer a small benefit and are able to be swapped easily, but are not guaranteed to drop as loot. Glyphs are like jewelry and can be upgraded at the Jeweler to exchange gold and Scattered Crystals. Glyphs can also be removed from the inventory, and they are returned to the inventory. Other upgrade components such as traits or aegis can't be exchanged, and can only be found with an Upgrade extractor, or salvaging with Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage.

Trinkets

Trinkets are items of equipment that bestow an array of tiny but valuable benefits to your hero. They are available in the starting area as rewards for personal stories or loot. They can also be obtained from vendors as well as through completing road interaction. They can also be crafted by jewelers and later found or purchased at the Trading Post.

The first trinket that a player will be able to unlock is the cloak. It provides a tiny but valuable boost in movement speed and the ability to escape. Then, they can get amulets, rings, and necklaces in the same way to how a player acquires armor and weapons. Each piece of equipment comes with one upgrade slot that can accept either a universal or a jewel upgrade. Universal upgrades are smaller and are able to be used on any equipment. Jewels cannot be upgraded or replaced and are only compatible with certain trinkets.

These trinkets can also grant bonuses and abilities that are active when the hero is not fighting. This allows the hero to perform better when they are not active, and can also help fill in the void of a strong team or any slots in the talent tree that normally are filled with the hero's ideal statistics.

A good general rule of thumb for Item upgrades trinket upgrades is to prioritize BiS (Best-in-Slot) items that you will not replace in the near future, then any items with desirable stats, but less important than the iLevel of the item upgrader to be upgraded. This is especially true when you are looking to upgrade items multiple statistics on an item. It is better to upgrade one important stat than two less important ones.

At the beginning of the game players who are in the jungle will typically want to upgrade their yellow trinket to a red, while top and middle players will usually opt for a green or pink ward (depending on the game's matchup). These choices will have a major impact on the hero's map control abilities.

In addition to the items mentioned above, players can also discover other trinkets in form trophies and rewards throughout the game. These can be obtained by completing certain milestones within the story, such as completing a chapter's main quest or killing a particular boss. They can be viewed by selecting the relevant achievement in the reward tab of the hero menu.
