Students should also be familiar with the guidelines and conditions of the exam, in addition to the exam schedule. They are available on the website for each exam. After registering, students acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.

Exam sites make every effort to accommodate participants who have special needs. The nature and extent of these needs must be declared on the registration and confirmed by a medical attestation. In addition the exam sites must be kept confidential.

If a student is scheduled to take three exams on the same day, they should contact their instructor or department to schedule a retake test. It is possible to take three exams on the same day. However, this could lead to a high level of stress and impact the quality. Additionally, the professor might not be able to give a makeup exam on a different day.

Students must go through their course materials prior to taking the exam and practice their German skills. The exam is a test on paper that assesses the ability to read, speak, and write in German. The certificate confirms that the student has reached the level of language A1.
