WoW Upgrades - The Best item upgrader Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boosts in specific statistics. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. A random substat is also added to every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item upgrader kit is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect version.

Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be used on any weapon or tool with the help of button, which displays a preview of the item at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item and current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for example. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with some upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of Flightstones or crests that are used. The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, however it brings some changes to the process of upgrading. For instance, once an item is at the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest possible level for all their characters rather than relying on seasonal loot.

Another notable change is that crests only have one use and it's crucial to use them properly. For instance, it's a good idea use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the top gear you have available and keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you plan on making. This is particularly applicable to items like trinkets and rings that take up several slots. The discount for the entire account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
