Path of Exile item upgrading Upgrades

Upgrades to items are a common and essential way to boost the performance of numerous items in Path of Exile. They can be a fantastic source of additional damage and more AD or even more attaches.

The first trinkets that a player is able to unlock is the cloak, which gives an unimportant but beneficial boost to movement speed and evasion. The player can then acquire necklaces, amulets, and rings in a similar fashion to how they acquired weapons and armor. Each piece of equipment has one upgrade slot that can accommodate either a universal upgrade or a jewel upgrade. Universal upgrades offer smaller bonuses and can be placed in any type of equipment however, jewelry cannot be replaced or upgraded and is only compatible with certain kinds of trinkets.

These trinkets provide additional buffs and abilities that are active when the hero isn't engaged in combat. This allows the hero to be more efficient when they are not active.
