Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, also called "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment results in a linear increase in a given stat.

Players can recycle up to six items at a time to gain a level gauge for each of the upgraded components. The cost of recycling items increases according to their rarity and level.

Upgrade components

An upgrade for an item in Guild Wars 2 is a process that can increase the effectiveness of your weapon and armor. This can be done through various methods, including the use of upgrade components and also increasing an item's mark level or rarity. In addition there are many items that can be reforged, which could boost their stats even more.

Upgradeable items are available in the game, both in the world and as rewards for missions. They can also be made by players. Glyphs

Each glyph can increase the value of a stat by specific amount. This is displayed on the item upgrading, when you open it in the Glyph Storage. This range is the maximum value that a glyph can improve a stat by, not the amount that it actually improves the stat by. The value of the glyph will depend on the tier and the quality of the item you are admiring.

The majority of upgrade components that are installed into items cannot be removed or replaced without removing them, with the exception of legendary equipment and item upgrader kit upgrades. If you do have a non-useful rune or glyph that has not yet been added to your equipment, item upgrader kit you can transfer it to a different piece of equipment by using the upgrade Glyphs context menu within the Glyphs panel.
